Eric is a graduate of Auburn University where he completed his PhD degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering. His main research interests are biometric user authentication and information security training and awareness. In addition to his affiliation with the Center for Information Assurance, he is also a member of the Department of Computer Science where he serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor.

Eric lives in Midtown Memphis with his wife Laurie and two dogs. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their son Isaac in January of 2009.
