5/7/09 The National Security Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security have re-designated the University of Memphis as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education for the academic years 2009-2014. The official certification will be presented to the U of M’s Center for Information Assurance (CfIA) at the annual conference of the Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education June 3 in Seattle.
4/7/09 University of Memphis hosted the semi-annual ACT Online partners meeting. An evening reception was held to welcome our guests, Sam Phillips, ACT Online Program Manager, the Department of Homeland Security, and collaborators from Vanderbilt University and SPARTA, Inc.
